swing bed program

Our “swing bed” program provides excellent nursing care and rehabilitation services for patients who no longer require an acute level of care, but require ongoing skilled medical care. Swing bed patients are managed by the same providers and nurses from the Dayton General Hospital acute care team, alongside the on-site ancillary services including pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and a wide range of rehabilitation therapy services. Our staff to patient ratio is one of the best in the area at 1:4.
