Your Medicare coverage matters. Before choosing a plan for 2027, take a few minutes to make sure your doctors, prescriptions, and health care services are covered.
Medicare plans can change from year to year, even if you stay with the same insurance company.
Columbia County Health System wants to help our community find reliable information and resources to make informed decisions.
Medicare Advantage Plans Accepted at CCHS
For 2027, Columbia County Health System is in network with:
- Wellcare Medicare Advantage
- Humana Medicare Advantage
- UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage
We also accept other Medicare Advantage plans. However, you may have additional out-of-network costs depending on your plan.
Please note: Not every plan offered by an insurance company has the same network, benefits, or costs. Verify that your specific plan includes your preferred CCHS providers and services before enrolling.
Important Information for Humana Members
We've heard concerns that Humana is discontinuing Medicare Advantage coverage in Washington for 2027.
CCHS has confirmed directly with Humana that it will continue serving our patients in 2027.
Some Humana plans are changing. If you currently have Humana coverage, review any notices you receive and contact Humana to confirm your specific 2027 benefits, coverage, and costs.
Five Things to Check Before Choosing a Plan
- Your doctors and hospital: Are your preferred providers and facilities in network?
- Your prescriptions: Are your medications covered, and what will they cost?
- Your out-of-pocket expenses: Compare premiums, deductibles, copays, and annual spending limits.
- Changes to your current plan: Review your Annual Notice of Change.
- Your health care needs: Consider the services and specialists you may need in the coming year.

Medicare Open Enrollment ends December 7, 2026. Changes made during this period generally take effect January 1, 2027.
