YOU’RE NOT ALONE—AND HELP IS AVAILABLE

Pelvic health concerns are common and can affect people of all genders. These symptoms may develop after surgery, injury, pregnancy, or over time.

If you are experiencing any of the following, a clinical evaluation may be helpful:

  • Urinary leakage with activity such as coughing, laughing, or exercise

  • Urinary urgency or increased frequency

  • Pelvic pain, pressure, or discomfort

  • Pain during intimacy

  • Constipation or bowel dysfunction

  • Symptoms following surgery or medical treatment (including prostate procedures)

Many of these conditions can be improved with appropriate therapy and guidance.

WHAT IS PELVIC HEALTH THERAPY?

Pelvic health therapy focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissue that support the bladder, bowel, and core.

Through Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy, treatment may include exercises, manual techniques, and education to improve strength, coordination, and function. Care plans are individualized based on each patient’s condition, goals, and medical history.
