- Swallow Diagnostics:
Now offering FEES swallow evaluations. FEES is a swallowing assessment that provides imaging using a scope inserted through the nose and down into the throat to identify swallow structures and points of swallow difficulty through visualization of structures involved in the swallowing mechanisms. It helps to diagnose the type and severity of swallowing difficulty, guide the treatment plan with appropriate recommendations, which could include swallowing exercises, strategies for management, and education.
- Swallowing treatment:
Work with a speech therapist to improve swallow function.
- Cognition:
The brain has many functions, including executive function, attention, memory, safety, problem-solving, and sequencing. Cognition can be impacted by the aging process, progressive illnesses (dementia, Parkinson's, etc), or as a result of a traumatic brain injury or concussion. Any change to cognitive functions can be assessed and a treatment plan can be developed to address it.

The ability to understand and express one's self can be affected by many things.
